Christiana of Chibok

On the 14th of April 2014, the extremist sect, Boko Haram, kidnapped 276 schoolgirls from their dormitory at the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Nigeria. Two and a half years later, more than 200 girls are still in captivity.

I have often wondered what horrors these girls are enduring in the hands of the Boko Haram. My short story, Christiana of Chibok, is an attempt to visualise this in words.

I shudder at the thought that the events depicted in the story, however gruesome, might not be as horrible as what the girls are going through in captivity.

The international media frenzy that greeted the girls' kidnap two years ago have long fizzled out. The world seems to have forgotten about them.

I hope Christiana of Chibok will not only entertain readers, but also jolt them into taking action to put back the plight of the Chibok girls in glare of the international community. It is time to make a final push to rescue these girls.

Just One Line: Eadeneae, My Story World.

So why am I writing a fantasy action adventure novel? Earth sucks, so I created Eadeneae.

Eadeneae, my story world, is a supercontinent, 250 million years before the advent of man. It is home to Pre'ads  (7-8ft tall preAdamic men), Watchers (angels), Jinn, Nephs (12-18ft tall blue giants), Habres (green hominids) and many strange beasts including transparent-fleshed, mermaid-like creatures that live in ocean trenches.
